Sam's first trip to Lexington

This past weekend we took Sam to Lexington! She slept the entire way so it was actually an easy trip. The hardest part was getting everything in the car, even though I think her dad had more "gear" (aka stuff for turkey hunting and golf clubs) than she did. Sam was able to meet her Great Grandma Steffens and Schriefer.

Grandpa Steffens surprised Sam with some fancy hair bows!

Kevin, Nancy, and I enjoyed some morel mushrooms after our successful hunt. The Fahrmeier's also contributed to our feast:)
